Bhutan's beloved King sealed his wedding celebrations by kissing the queen publicly, sending thousands of spectators in a deeply traditional country into instant raptures. A spectacular ceremony at Thimphu's main stadium on Saturday showcased the best of Bhutanese customs and traditions drew curtains on the public celebrations of the royal wedding that have transfixed the tiny Himalayan Kingdom. A giant sized Tangkha painting celebrating the royal wedding was unfurled at the stadium before traditional dancers began enthralling the capacity crowd at an event, which was meant to bring the royal couple closer to their subjects. Dasho Sangay Wangchuk, a member of the royal privy said it was a moment of oneness between the king and his subjects.
