Chief amounts of rainfall in (cm): Turuvekere (Tunkur dt) 5; Mundaragi (Gadag dt) 4; Yellapura (Uttar Kannada dt), Talguppa (Shimoga dt), Hunsur (Mysore dt), Chitradurga, Tiptur (Tumkur dt) 3 each; Haveri APMC, Bhagamandala (Kodagu), Linganamakki (Shimoga dt), Kadur (Chikamagalur dt), Sakaleshapura (Hassan dt), Mysore, Kurugodu (Bellary dt) 2 each; Navalgund (Dharwad dt), Haveri, Napoklu, Virajpet, Somwarpet (all Kodagu dt), Kottigehara, Balehonnur, Tarikere (all Chikamagalur dt), Kollegal (Chamarajanagara dt), K R Pet (Mandya dt), Bharamasagara, Rampura (both Chitradurga dt) 1 each. Minimum temperature changed little. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka. Bidar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 17.4 deg. Celsius.
