Annies Kanmani Joy takes charge as Kodagu DC

Annies Kanmani Joy took charge as the new deputy commissioner of Kodagu on Friday.

She was handed over the charge at the deputy commissioner’s office in Madikeri, by the in-charge deputy commissioner K Lakshmipriya, who is also the chief executive officer of the Kodagu Zilla Panchayat. The latter served as an in-charge deputy commissioner for 20 days, in the absence of former deputy commissioner P I Sreevidya.

Annies Kanmani Joy was serving as the Zilla Panchayat CEO in Tumakuru district before she was transferred to Kodagu. She has also worked as Deputy Commissioner at Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi, and Assistance Commissioner of Bidar.
