Infosys India delivery head quits : Report

Suryaprakash Kareenahalli, a senior Infosys executive who managed a portfolio worth nearly $1.6 billion for Infosys has resigned from his position.

Suryaprakash Kareenahalli, a senior Infosys executive who managed a portfolio worth nearly $1.6 billion for the IT behemoth has resigned from his post, the Economic Times reported on Thursday.

Kareenahalli was the Service Offering Head, ADM and Senior Vice President and had been working with the company for 16 years.

The 52-year-old with over 29-years of experience has resigned from his post to work with New York-based Institute of Personal Leadership, to focus on professional training and coaching.

“We do not comment on appointments or resignations other than those of key management personnel,” a company spokesperson told ET.

Kareenahalli area of work included India software services delivery verticals, CPG and logistics, retail and legacy modernization and prior to joining Infosys, he was with Wipro in the Subvertical Business Management.

His departure from the company marks the sixth top-level exit since CEO Salil Parekh took over in January 2018.
