Heidelberg’s deputy mayor visits BBMP

Mayor Gangambike Mallikarjun met Nicole Huber, deputy mayor of Heidelberg in southwestern Germany, on Saturday.

Huber was accompanied by an 11-member team from Heidelberg. She told reporters, “I am here to discuss the future partnership between the two cities in the field of education, environment, culture, technology and corporate sector.”

Gangambike said, “Since the authorities of Heidelberg are interested in partnering with Bengaluru in various sectors, I have requested them to send a proposal. BBMP will ask the state government to send our proposal to them.” Huber praised Bengaluru for growth in technology.
