IFIM student gets Rs 16.64 lakh job offer

A student at the city-based IFIM Business School was offered an annual pay of Rs 16.64 lakh during the campus placement.

The college announced the completion of the final placements and the Industry Internship Program (IIP) of the 2017-19 batch of its two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). It said it created a record in term of terms of the highest salary offered, the number of recruiters visiting the campus and the diversity of job profiles offered.

“PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) recruited a whopping 40 students from the college. The highest salary package offered is Rs 16.64 lakh/per annum and the average salary package is Rs 7.5 lakh per annum while more than 30% of the students have been placed with an annual salary package of Rs 7 lakh and above. The highest number of students were recruited in the consulting services (33%), the IT services and the FMCG companies recruited 15% and 12% students, respectively,” the IFIM said in a press release.
