IISc lab blast victims' condition stable

Naresh Kumar, one of the three laboratory blast victims at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), has been moved out of the ICU.

Kumar (33) had suffered an open fracture and penetrating injury with foreign bodies. He underwent multiple surgeries at the at the Ramaiah Memorial Hospital. His condition is said to be stable now. He is being orally fed and is able to tolerate it.

Another victim, Karthik Shenoy (25) was made to walk around on Thursday. He too suffered multiple penetrating injuries on his abdomen and had foreign bodies removed through a surgery. He is also tolerating oral feeding, and his condition is said to be stable.

Athulya Uday Kumar, the third victim, has been discharged. He has been asked to visit the hospital for a follow-up.
