'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' is 20 years old!

Not too long ago on the second season of the Calling Karan radio show, Karan Johar said that he was thinking about making Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2. The original film, however, completes 20 years this week.

He talked about the nostalgia around Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the relationship chemistry of the Rahul and Anjali characters in the film.

Karan said, “I will always remember every single day of my life when I was shooting KKHH. Those days bonding on the film set was so much, especially when we used to go outdoors. There were no mobile phones. It was like a college picnic. All of us, me, Kajol, Shah Rukh, Rani, Manish Malhotra - we used to go on a bus and shoot at locations. It was so much fun. Today, we are meeting publicists and managers and there is so much distance between talent and you. Gone are the days and those days are never going to come back.”
