KFCC former chairman Shresthi no more

Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce former chairman and film producer S Nagaraja Shresthi passed away at his residence in Naidu Beedhi on Sunday. He was 97.

Shresthi, apart from being a film producer, distributor and exhibitor, had also been the part of various temple committees in different capacities. ‘Nagarahole’, ‘Shravana Sanje’ and ‘Koodi Balidare Swarga Sukha’ were among the films he produced. Nagaraja Shresthi is survived by six sons and a daughter.

KFCC chairman Chinnegowda, in his condolence remarks, said Shresthi was the first non-Bangalorean to rise to the position of the chairman of KFCC.

Filmmaker S V Rajendra Singh Babu too condoled the demise of Shresthi.
