Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri are addressing the media ahead of the team leaving for England for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup

"Players are fresh and they are going into the World Cup with the right mindset. The biggest challenge will be to handle pressure," says Kohli.

Kohli feels this will be the most challenging WC. The format will be tough. A team like Afghanistan can pull off an upset, feels the captain.

Coach Ravi Shastri feels the IPL format is best suited as far as knockouts are concerned. Responds to the question if it will be harsh if a team gets knocked out in semis despite winning all nine games in the Round Robin format.

Ravi Shastri calls the World Cup a big opportunity for India. "The team that plays to the potential will win," he says.

Virat Kohli wants his side to take inspiration from successful football clubs in the world. "You look at the champions of La Liga or IPL. They maintain the same intensity throughout the tournament."

"MS Dhoni will play a massive role," states Ravi Shastri. "His communication with Kohli has been great. He has been brilliant with behind the stump. He was striking the ball well in the IPL."

"We shouldn't get emotional against any team," says Virat Kohli. "Match against Pakistan will be like any other side. We must play to our strengths," says the skipper as he wraps up the PC.
