The ongoing verbal duel between prime minister Narendra Modi and BSP supremo Mayawati intensified further on Wednesday with the latter terming the former had ''crossed all limits'' and ''unfit'' to rule the country.

Apparently furious over Modi's remarks that ''BSP stands for Behenji ki Sampatti Party'' (property of Mayawati, the BSP supremo also said that Modi was ''honest only on papers''.

''Modi is unfit in comparison to BSP president (Mayawati)'' she remarked.

''BJP has the maximum number of people with fictitious properties while BSP only has what the party's well-wishers' have given,'' she added.

She also said that the prime minister was ''honest only on paper''. ''Modi's honesty is just like his caste....he pretends to be honest,'' she said. Mayawati has been claiming that Modi did not belong to a backward caste.

Mayawati said that the Modi government's policies were in favour of the industrialists and businessmen.

She also termed the BJP as an ''anti-Dalit'' party. ''Modi's attack on me shows that he suffers from anti-Dalit mentality,'' the BSP supremo said.

Mayawati's attack on Modi came a day after the latter's remarks that Samajwadi Party (SP) and BSP leaders had ''amassed'' huge wealth and challenged his rivals to show if he had any palatial bungalows like them.

Modi and Mayawati had been engaged in a war of words for the past few days. The prime minister has been targetting the BSP supremo in his election rallies in the eastern UP region.
