No retaliation against 'Go Back Shobha' campaigners

BJP organised a victory rally to mark the thumping victory of its candidate Shobha Karandlaje from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency in the city on Thursday evening.

The victory procession passed through Kadiyali, Kalsanka, City Bus stop, KSTRC bus stop, KM Marg, Daina Circle, Court Road and ended in Malpe.

Shobha Karandlaje also visited temples and offered prayers.

Shobha said no vendetta politics would be waged at those who had launched ‘Go Back Shobha’ campaign on twitter.

She said ticket aspirants had launched the campaign. “But party workers should join hands to develop party and the constituency,” she urged.

JD(S)-Congress candidate Pramod Madhwaraj conceded that they were all helpless against a wave.

“Nevertheless voters are our bosses and they have given the verdict which I humbly accept without any bitterness,” he said.
