How about enjoying FIFA in a street style way? ‘Street Mama’ in Garuda Mall is the place to be if you want to experience street foods from all over the world, while you enjoy a match or two.

Right from the entrance, the restaurant gives out an instant vibe of different food streets of the world.
As you step in, you will be welcomed by aroma from the gigantic live kitchen. Next to it is the stocked up bar, decorated with round hanging lights and wooden placard hangings with ‘Mama says...’ phrases.

The seating area is divided into ‘Mama’s Cave’, which is the live kitchen zone which has a casual atmosphere. ‘

Mama’s Hangout’ for those who loves sitting around the bar and enjoying their drink.

There is also a section that is designed in a way that it resembles a street amphitheatre, it is named ‘Mama’s Hood’. If you are looking for a space that is a little formal seating, look for the Mama’s Diner, the American style diner with bright yellow and red lights will make your dining experience worth remembering.

Don’t be surprised if you find a couple of manholes on the floor. It just adds up to the detailing of the ambience.

Coming to the food, start your meal with ‘Guacamole On Toast’.

The bite-size black bread toast layered with spiced avocado and cream cheese dip is a blessing to the taste buds. The bread is crispy and easy to bite on. The ‘Thai Corn Cakes’ is another quick bite you can look for. Try the ‘Kuku Piri Piri’ if you are looking for non-vegetarian options. The skewered chicken is perfectly spiced with the South African chilli sauce. This mouthwatering starter goes well with a chilled glass of beer.

Try the ‘Prawn Hargao’ dumpling. The minced prawns with mushroom and water-chestnuts has a unique taste and can be a good option if you are looking for a change in taste. The chilli soy, wasabi mayo and the burnt tomato sauce is the perfect combination.

The elaborate menu has an array of option for burgers and sliders too. If you are in a mood to try them, go for the ‘Mini Mushroom Slider’. The mushroom, cheesy patty has the right combination of spice and cheese.

Let’s move to the main course. You can try the ‘Kuwaiti Biriyani’. If you are a biryani lover, you are sure to love the taste. The fresh aroma of saffron and cardamom is refreshing. The smoky taste of the biryani can be a little strong for some, but it worth trying. The chicken in the biryani could have been a little softer. Don’t expect it to be spicy as the Indian biryani though.

Ask for ‘Dutty Churros’ to complete your meal. Dip the churros in the chocolate and caramel sauce and enjoy the sugary-spice dessert.
