Three-day Israeli film festival opens today

Bhavan’s film society and the Consulate General of Israel are jointly organising the event

A film festival opening on March 12 brings Israeli classics to Bengaluru.

The three-day event is organised by the Bhavan's Film Society and the Consulate General of Israel to South India.

This is the film society’s maiden film festival.

It will be held at Khincha Hall on Race Course Road and will be inaugurated by Jonathan Zadka, the Consul General of Israel to South India.

Two films will be screened every day, at 11.30 am and at 3 pm. ‘Desperado Square’, winner of Israeli Academy Awards will be the first film that will be screened on the day of the inauguration.

Cinematic classics of Israel such as ‘Halfon Hill Doesn’t Answer’, ‘Camp Fire’, ‘Colombian Love’, ‘HagigaB’Snucker’, and ‘Alex is Lovesick’ will be a part of the lineup.
