Two men protest, 'keral'; BJP gets trolled on Twitter

A video of BJP Kerala on Sunday invited hilarious troll and forced them to delete the tweet. The official Twitter handle of BJP Kerala (@BJP4Keralam) shared a video of a protest against chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The tweet with a description saying "Protest against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by BJP activists at Chengannur." The video in the tweet shows two men walking randomly and running when the convoy of chief minister passes on the road.

On Sunday, the BJP workers staged massive protests across the state against the alleged atrocities against the devotees in Sabarimala shrine as well as the arrests of the BJP leaders including their state general secretary P Surendran. The party workers also protested against the chief minister during a program in Chengannur. The above Tweet also came as part of the protests.

Within minutes, the tweet received several comments and most of them were trolls. People like Nidhi Razdan, Swati Chaturvedi, Omar Abdullah etc made fun of the tweet.

The BJP has deleted the Tweet afterwards, but the damage has already been done as the trolls reached the national level. Some even took the screenshots and widely shared on different social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook etc.

Saroj Pandey's 'keral' visit!

As another embarrassment to the party, BJP's Rajya Sabha member Saroj Pandey posted details of her tour in Kerala as part of the four-member delegation on Sabarimala, calling the state 'Keral' instead of the official name of the state 'Kerala' and the Malayalam version 'Keralam'. She used 'keral' in a series of Tweet from her landing at the airport.

She is leading the delegation consists of Prahlad Joshi, Nalin Kateel and Vinod Sonkar. The team was deputed by party president Amit Shah to deliberate party's strategy on Sabarimala issue.

She even used the hashtag #Bjpforkeral along with her tweets. Her tweets also attracted the trolls from furious Keralites.

The BJP in Kerala has been opposing the Supreme Court judgement, which lifted the ban on entry of women in menstruating age in Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple.
