BJP takes out rally in Madikeri

With the public campaign for elections coming to an end, BJP workers took out a rally in Madikeri on Tuesday.

With the slogan ‘Modi for Nation’, the rally was flagged-off at Chowdeshwari Temple and passed through Indira Gandhi Circle and old private bus stand, to culminate at General Thimayya Circle.

Members of the Legislative Assembly and other BJP leaders moved in an open jeep.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Appacchu Ranjan said that the coalition parties in the state have been casting false allegations on Modi all the time.

There is a BJP wave is Kodagu as well and candidate Pratap Simha will win with a huge margin, he said.

MLC Sunil Subramani said that by observing Tipu Jayanti, the state government created unrest in Kodagu. Siddaramaiah had mocked at the religious beliefs by entering the temples after eating non-vegetarian food.

Coalition candidate in Kodagu C H Vijayshankar is an enemy of Kodagu, he added.

BJP state committee secretary Manu Muttappa said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taught a befitting lesson to Pakistan by ordering for a surgical strike.

BJP district president B B Bharatish took part in the rally.
