JOIN USJeevan Kotian and Salomi D’Souza from Mangaluru edged out other contestants to be crowned with Mr and Miss Teen titles at a beauty pageant organised by OSC (OneStepCloser) Events for the first time at Madhuvan Serai in Manipal here, recently.
Laura Susan from Udupi was crowned with the title Miss Manipal and Dr Mouveen Vijay Chandran as Mrs Manipal 2019 at the Mr- Miss- Miss Teen- Mrs Manipal 2019 beauty pageant. The event organised after a gap of 20 years gathered momentum with its auditions organised at Forum Fiza Mall, Udupi and Manipal.
Over 100 applicants from all over Karnataka participated in the auditions.
The beauty pageant was judged by celebrity judges, including Bollywood Actor Shehzaad Khan, Winner of season 2 `Halli Hyda Pyatege Bandha,’ Chandana Gowda, Producer of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ Rajesh Bhat and socialite from Manipal Divya R Hegde. The event was organised by OSC Events and
directed by Johnson and Prithvi Kamath.
The show was choreographed by Shubhakiran Mani. The organisers have plans to organise their next event, `Princess Miss & Mrs Beautiful Forever 2019’ in May this year. For the first time, this event is being organised exclusively for the members of Christian community from the coastal districts. Also Mr - Miss - Miss Teen - Mrs Pride of Karnataka will be held at a state level during September 2019.
