After India achieved the milestone of administering 100 crores Covid-19 vaccine doses on October 21, NITI Aayog Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amitabh Kant said that India was able to avoid the possible third wave because of the vaccination drive.
“Seeing scale and size we have achieved it in less time. It's a result of our collective effort. Out of 100 crore vaccination doses, 30-35 crore are double doses-more than the population of countries like Indonesia,” he said.
