Harsh Vardhan holds meeting with Health Ministers of UP, AP, MP, and Gujarat

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan held a meeting with state Health Ministers and officials of Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat via video conference on May 15 to review the current Covid-19 situation. “Last week between May 3-8, more than four lakh cases were reported for four consecutive days. In the last 4 days, that number has decreased and the number of recovery cases has increased. Between April 30 and May 6, the positivity rate was 21.3 per cent but this week it has come down to 19.3 per cent,” Dr Vardhan said.
