India reports 28,591 new Covid cases, 338 deaths in the last 24 hours

India reported 28,591 new Covid-19 cases and 338 fatalities in the last 24 hours. 34,848 recovered in the same duration.

The new fatalities pushed the Covid death toll in the country to 4,42,655. India has 3,84,921 active cases of Covid as of today.

Kerala reported 20,487 new infections and 181 deaths on Saturday.

Under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive, 72,86,883 doses were administered in 24 hours. 73,82,07,378 doses have been administered so far.
