Karnataka ACB recovers Rs 13 lakh from drainage pipe of PWD engineer's house; Rs 54 lakh in total

Karnataka ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) on November 24 recovered around Rs 54 lakh cash during a raid at the residence of a Public Works Department (PWD) junior engineer in Kalaburagi on November 24. Rs 13 lakh was recovered from one of the drainage pipes at the house. “Total Rs 54 lakh in cash found during the raid including Rs 13 lakh recovered from one of the drainage pipes at the house of a PWD junior engineer,” said Mahesh Meghannanavar, SP, North Eastern Range, ACB.
