Actor Chetan celebrates New Year with Diddalli evacuees

Actor Chetan celebrated the New Year with Diddalli evacuees at the rehabilitation centre in Byadagotta near Koodige on Tuesday.

The actor distributed stationary items and sweets to the children at the relief centre.

He said that he has been with the fight of Diddalli evacuees and will continue to strive for them.

“The work on the construction of houses for the evacuees is hit by procrastination,” he said and urged the administration to complete the work soon and hand over the houses to the victims.

There is a need to lay emphasis on the education of the children of the tribal community along with preserving the tribal culture, he added.
