Finnish mobile-maker HMD Global Oy has announced to launch new products later next month.

The company will be hosting a virtual event on April 8 at 3:00 pm GMT (8:30 pm IST). There is no word on what the company has in the offing, but the teaser page hints at a photography-oriented camera phone capable of taking really good portrait mode images.

Also, word on the street is that the HMD Global may unveil not one but two phones- Nokia X20 (codenamed Quick Silver) and X10 ( codenamed Scarlet Witch), which are said to support 5G cellular connectivity. They are expected to house Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 480 octa-core chipset backed by 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.

The new Nokia X10 and X20 are said to be mid-range phones. We will be getting more clarity on April 8.

In a related development, HMD Global is working on a special gaming phone dubbed as Nokia G10. It is said to come with a high-resolution 6.5-inch screen with up to 120Hz display refresh rate. Also, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor.

However, there is no information on when the Nokia G10 will see the light of the day.
