YouTube has removed a couple of Punjabi songs related to the farmers’ protest from its platform, following the government order.

Some of the songs including Ailaan by Kanwar Grewal have been removed.

YouTube displays a message stating, “This content is not available on this country domain due to a legal complaint from the government.”

However, some users have uploaded the video on YouTube via other channels as well.

Last week, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has issued notice to Twitter and asked it to remove over 1,400 accounts believed to be Kalistan and Pro-Pakistan handlers. The government said these accounts were used to provoke farmers and stoke violence.
