Keeping up with the theme of the day and to talks about the role of women in the field of medicine, we are joined by Dr Aparna Srivatsa. Dr Aparna is an oncologist with an interest in the cancers affecting the gynaecological anatomy, breast and lungs. Hi doctor, welcome to DH Radio.

Ahmed: What can be done to encourage more women participation in the field of medicine?

Dr Aparna: In any country, the women in their workforce need to be encouraged to enter the medical field. When a girl child is in high school or college, we need o to encourage her that she is capable of doing everything that a man can do...
