Mangaluru bride passes away just hours after wedding

She died due to cardiac arrest

In a heart-wrenching incident, a bride died hours after her marriage was solemnised due to cardiac arrest at Adyar Kannur in the wee hours of Monday.

The unfortunate bride was identified as Laila Afia (23), daughter of Beerpugudde Jamaat President K H K Abdul Karim Haji.

The nikah was solemnised at Adyar Kannur Jumma Masjid on Sunday and a grand reception was held at Adyar Garden.

The groom had visited the house of his in-laws after the marriage. The bride suffered a massive cardiac arrest at 3 am and breathed her last.
