The school had been shut since Thursday.

However, the school reopened at 10 am on Monday keeping in mind the future of the other students as the final exams are just round the corner. Nearly 75% of the students attended classes.

However, around 11 am, more than 100 residents of Thimmanahalli arrived at the school accompanied by the parents of the deceased student from the village. They managed to enter the school premises by getting past the policemen stationed at the gate.

A furious argument broke out between the agitating villagers and the police. The commotion caused a lot of anxiety among the students and teachers.

Hearing of the protests at the school, parents who had sent their children to school hurried to get to their children.

Finally, the children and teachers were allowed to leave by which time they had all lost patience to listen to and conduct classes.
