Close to 50, Milind Soman wins tough triathlon

Model-turned-actor Milind Soman, successfully completed world's toughest race, Ironman Triathlon held in Zurich, Switzerland on July 19th.

Milind Soman, who will turn 50 this November, was preparing for the race over the past few months. He had kept his fans updated with his practice sessions via social media.

Triathlon consists of a 3.86km swim, a 180.2 km cycle ride and a 42.2 km run.  A national level swimmer, Milind Soman, completed the race in 15 hours and 19 minutes.

There were about 2000 participants with seven Indians. Milind Soman participated for the first time and bagged the title of "Ironman".
