A police officer paid a musical tribute to evergreen actor Dev Anand by releasing a music video on Friday in Mumbai .
Senior Inspector of Police Sachin Sawant, who is currently posted at Vaijapur Naka police station in Solapur district is the man behind the project.
"Its a small tribute from us to the actor who was ahead of his times and whose fans cut across generations.... I am not even 2%, 1% of Dev Anand, it is just a tribute," Sawant said.
The music video is a collection of hit songs of Dev Anand films.
Late Dev Anand's son Suneil Anand and actor Jackie Shroff were also present at the launch of the video titled 'Tribute to Legend Dev Anand'.
