In a shocking incident, two doctors allegedly raped a woman patient at a private nursing home in Meerut.
According to reports, the doctors, including the owner of the nursing home, entered the room where the woman was admitted for the past few days, on the pretext of a check-up on Wednesday night.
They then allegedly raped her after locking the door from inside.
The lone attendant, her brother-in-law was sitting in the waiting hall at the nursing home when the incident occurred.
The victim narrated the incident to her relative on Thursday morning after which a large number of people from the victim’s village assembled at the nursing home and created a ruckus.
A case has been registered against the culprits who were identified as Dr Neeraj Sharma and Dr O P Sirohi, police said. The doctors are absconding police added.
