A British court has resumed hearing of the sensational case in which a society beauty had a drunken sex romp with a male passenger on a Bangalore-London Kingfisher flight in March 2006.
Details of the incident were recounted in the Isleworth Crown Court by the Indian staff of Kingfisher airlines on Monday. The two, Clare Irby and Daniel Melia, indulged in sexual acts while the man’s girlfriend slept and Clare’s baby was crying. The act caused must commotion aboard the flight, the court was told.
Irby, who is a 30-year-old descendant of the family that owns Guinness beer, reportedly allowed her breasts to be fondled by Melia while ignoring the screams of her two-year-old son. Melia later had an angry conversation with his girlfriend, model Sarah Hannon, when she woke up. Irby and Melia were arrested when the Airbus A330 landed at Heathrow on March 26 last year, The Daily Mail reported. Irby, who had been holidaying in Goa, became “disruptive” around three hours into the 11-hour Kingfisher Airlines Flight 001.
