ICC World Cup 2019 ENG vs SL: Best pictures of the match

The world watched in awe and hands clapped in unison as Sri Lanka pulled off one of the biggest upsets of this World Cup by defeating England by 20 runs. Sri Lanka, deciding to bat, put on 232, a score that many thought England will chase down with ease. But as fate would have it, England faltered in their chase as they lost wickets at regular intervals before finally stopping at 212. It was an improbable victory, one that kept Sri Lanka's hope of qualifying for the semifinals alive.
