French-Indian actress Kalki Koechlin, during a one-to-one with the Humans Of Bombay, bravely confessed that she allowed someone to have sex with her when she was just nine years old.
Repenting her act, Kalki confides that ignorance about sexual abuse made her a victim.
The actress advocated the fact that parents should discuss such things with their children when they are young so that they can be aware of what's happening to them and can protect themselves from such abusive incidents.
The girl, who can speak Tamil, English, Hindi and French, believes that love is selfish as to love others one need to love themselves first.
The actress candidly said that she fights with herself everyday to retain her true identity.
She got hitched to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in 2011, but unfortunately her marriage didn't work and the couple parted ways after two years of marriage in 2013.
Kalki's upcoming film 'Margarita With A Straw' will be hitting the screens on April 17 this year. In the film, Kalki will be seen playing the character of a girl with cerebral palsy.
