Mazy's Muddle 16: Sleeping Gorilla

You see, I wanted to sleep, but not fall deeply asleep – I wanted to be able to wake up immediately if a lion or tiger or snake dropped in to say hello to me. And because I could not sleep, I was thinking about the sleeping habits of animals.

Do you know where gorillas sleep? They sleep in nests! And a gorilla makes a different nest every evening and also every time it has had a heavy lunch.

It takes 10 minutes for a gorilla to put together some bent sticks and make a mattress out of leaves. My question is, if Gorippa, a gorilla I have become friends with, eats a heavy lunch every day of the week, how many beds would he have made in a fortnight and how many hours would he have spent making them?

Out of the maze:
28 beds in 4 hours and 40 minutes. A fortnight has 14 days, that means 14 evenings and 14 lunch times. That means, Gorippa would make 28 nests. At 10 minutes per nest, he would take 280 minutes to make 28 nests.
