Nelson Mandela rightly said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

At the age of 14, when kids actually juggle between sports and high school studies, here is a boy who has by far excelled in his chosen field of subject through homeschooling.

Tanmay Bhakshi was attracted to programming at the age of five when he saw his dad programming and saw his name flash on the computer screen. That is when he first wondered how did his name appear on the screen.

One could say that the basis of his programming foundation was set by his father and nothing could stop him from becoming the world's youngest software programmer whose favourite interest now lies in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

At the age of nine, he created his first app for iOS. He is the world's youngest IBM Watson programmer. IBM Watson is an intelligence engine, which handles Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Internet of Things (IoT). It is a question-answering computer system, which is capable of answering questions posed in natural language.

He now owns over 60 apps and few of them are on iOS. He created 'tTables', a multiplication table made simple, as he was struggling himself to remember multiplication tables, he wanted to create an algorithm and create an app to make life easy. He released it in the app store when he was a nine-year-old. This app was accepted in the app store on Valentine's day of 2013.

Today, he has a youtube channel under the name of 'Tanmay Teaches', wherein he facilitates online coaching for coding, algorithms, Watson, AI and machine learning, math and science.

He has also authored his first book called 'Hello Swift! IOS Programming for Kids and Other Beginners'. He is also a keynote speaker for many international forums like Ted, Nasscom, IBM and honourary IBM cloud advisor. He is an algorithmist in Darwin's Ecosystem.

He started  AskTanmay, which is a Natural Language Question-Answering system (NLQA system) that is built in Swift, Java, and Python. It allows developers to start off their foundation (or for those who are still not sure how to start off) to implement their own NLQA systems.

Tanmay plans to reach out to 1,00,000 young kids and help them in coding in the near future, which he is almost touching his benchmark.
