KPCC president G Parameshwara, on Monday, filed his papers as the Congress candidate from the Koratagere (SC-reserved) seat.
He came in a procession, after performing poojas at temples, to the taluk office at around 12.30 pm and submitted his papers to returning officer Dr Premkumar. The former minister ws accompaniedby Tumakuru MP Muddahanumegowda and other leaders.
The value of the assets of Parameshwara has increased by almost three times in the last five years. In 2013, he had declared his assets to be worth Rs 6.61 crore and according to affidavit filed by him on Monday, he possesses assets totalling to Rs 18.38 crore.
