Corporator and Mahila Congress state general secretary Prathibha Kulai has filed a complaint with City Police Commissioner T R Suresh against Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje, for misusing her name and photograph in the book 'Chargesheet' released by the BJP in Bengaluru.
She said, "The BJP has issued a defamatory statement about me in the book. I have been facing mental harassment since the release. People are looking at me negatively, this has damaged my reputation. This is a very shameful act by a responsible national party and its leaders, who take politics cheaply and destroy personal lives to take political mileage."
She added, "The book is not connected to me and I am not a corporator of Bengaluru."
