Modi to launch National Animal Disease Control Programme

PM Modi is set to launch the National Animal Disease Control Programme in a bid to double farmers' income by reducing foot and mouth diseases, according to DD News.

It will aim at vaccinating 500 million livestock over a period of 5 years with a funding of Rs.12,652 crores, it added.

The PM will also reportedly launch the National Artificial Insemination Programme today.
