Even as the state unit of the BJP continues to remain divided over the denial of tickets to two former MPs — Rajendrasinh Rana from Bhavnagar and Harin Pathak from Ahmedabad (East), the party was left red-faced when BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha constituency from Rajkot, Mohan Kundariya was caught on video walking over a group of yoga students at a camp in Rajkot on Sunday.

Kundariya was the chief guest at the camp held in the Swaminarayan temple in Rajkot. The group of yoga students that he is seen walking over belongs to the Tankara-based Sanskruti Pathshal Vidyalay.

The video, which has gone viral, has caused much embarrassment to the party ahead of the elections.
