A 30-year-old Tihar jail inmate, who was booked under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), escaped from custody.
He was undergoing treatment in a government hospital, said Tihar Jail officials on Wednesday.
Naresh, 30, escaped on Tuesday morning from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Deputy Inspector General (Tihar) R N Sharma said Naresh was in the custody of Delhi Armed Police when he escaped.
