Radhika was working as a news presenter for V6 News channel and separated from her husband six months ago.

Her sister said that Radhika was under tremendous mental stress following the divorce.

On Sunday night, Radhika returned home at about 10.30 pm from office and within minutes she rushed upstairs in a hurry.

Some of the tenants who saw her running upstairs followed her to the sixth floor, but could not save her as she had already leapt to her death.

According to Kukatpally police station Sub Inspector Mazid, Radhika suffered a massive head injury, leg fracture and multiple blunt injuries.

Police have booked a case of suicide under suspicious conditions. An investigation into the matter is on.
