Triumph launches in India

The iconic British motorcycle brand, Triumph Motorcycles, has today entered the Indian market with the launch of ten of its iconic and prestigious models from the following categories; Classics, Roadsters, Adventure, Cruisers and Supersports.

The much sought after line-up, will include the Iconic Bonneville and Bonneville T100, the legendary Speed Triple, the largest production motorcycle the Rocket III Roadster, the class leading Street Triple, the cool café racer the Thruxton, the go anywhere Tiger 800 XC and Tiger Explorer, the stripped back and black Thunderbird Storm and the king of supersports bikes, the Daytona 675R. Triumph will provide Indian riders with a great ‘riding experience’, bringing the brand’s global legacy and iconic pedigree to the country for the very first time.

Triumph will also be the only premium motorcycle brand in India to offer the customer a complete choice of motorcycles to suite people’s riding preferences. No matter what your riding preference is Triumph has a bike to enable you to pursue your passion. Our main focus this year will be to successfully establish Triumph’s presence in India and we will strive to provide an exceptional quality of sales and service, for both admirers, as well as the riders of our bikes.”

Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “We have been carefully assessing the market landscape and decided to bring in these fantastic models to India. These motorcycles have been applauded for their design, character and performance, throughout the world; we really believe that they will perform well in the Indian market and be exceptionally successful.”

Triumph's exclusive dealerships will be operational in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Over the next few months, there will be many more dealerships that will open up across India. From genuine parts and seamless after-sales services, to authentic merchandise and accessories; Triumph will ensure that a complete biking experience will now be available to Indian riders.

Triumph Motorcycles India will be assembling the Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Daytona 675R, Street Triple , Speed Triple and Thruxton in India at the (CKD) assembly facility, established at Manesar, Haryana. The rest of the bikes, Rocket III Roadster, Tiger Explorer, Tiger 800 XC and Thunderbird Storm will be imported into India as CBU’s.
