Bengaluru: Ultra-luxury homes (priced over Rs 40 crore each) continued to sell briskly in 2024 with the number of units sold and the sales value of these assets hitting new peaks. Total sales value showed an annual climb of 17%.
Overall, 59 ultra-luxury homes were sold across the top seven cities in 2024, for a collective sales value of Rs 4,754 crore, according to an analysis by Anarock out on Thursday. Of these, 53 sold were apartments while remaining six were bungalows. Remarkably, Mumbai accounted for 52 of these deals.
Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Bengaluru each saw two deals worth over Rs 40 crore each, while Delhi saw one such sale.
At least 17 of these deals were worth over Rs 100 crore each, out of which 16 were in Mumbai and one was in Gurgaon.
In 2023, 58 ultra-luxury homes were sold for a total sales value of Rs 4,063 crore. In 2022, there were 13 such deals worth Rs 1,170 crore.
