Aloke Singh took over as the new chief executive officer of Air India Express on Monday at the airline's corporate office in Kochi.
According to an official statement from AIE, Singh was earlier associated with an aviation advisory and consulting firm in Delhi. He got three decades of experience in air transport and travel and held leadership roles in Air India, Alliance Air and a Gulf-based carrier.
The appointment of the new CEO came close on the heels of the budget carrier reporting its highest ever net profit of Rs. 412.77 crore in the financial year ending March 2020.
