"Anjan Bose will be responsible for the consumer lifestyle portfolio in India across all areas of its businesses and operations," Philips India said in a statement. Prior to this, Bose was the business head of Philips Healthcare.
"Bose spearheaded the turnaround of our healthcare business in India and established it as a fast growing business," Philips India Vice Chairman and Managing Director said.
An electronics and electrical communications engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bose started his career as a service engineer with Philips Medical 29 years back.
