According to a company spokesperson, the order for setting up the Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Power Plant at Yapalaniddi village in Raichur district has been placed on the company by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL).
BHEL’s scope of work in the contract envisages engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of the equipment, besides operation and maintenance of the plant for three years thereafter. The plant will be completed in a schedule of eight months.
