The Bloomberg Billionaires Index which is a real-time daily ranking of the world’s wealthiest individuals has just updated its list as of July 16, 2025. There has been a notable movement at the top half of that list. While Elon Musk remains on top, there’s an interesting shift at the No. 2 position. As of now, Oracle's Larry Elison is marginally ahead of Meta's Mark Zuckerberg who is at the third spot.

Elon Musk – $358 Billion

Elon Musk

Tesla Rockets, Social Media platform X, SpaceX rockets, Neuralink implants make Elon Musk to be the most talked-about man in tech and he also remains at the top of the global wealth pyramid. Although, there has been a slight dip in his net wealth this year, but his dominance in AI, space, and EVs keeps him at the numero position.

Larry Ellison – $251 Billion

The Oracle founder and chairman, riding high on enterprise software and AI investments, has reached the second spot. Oracle’s strong cloud growth and strategic partnerships have kept Ellison in the billionaire big league. This also proves that old tech still has new tricks.

Mark Zuckerberg – $251 Billion

This can be seen as a slight dip in the Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg wealth as he is currently at the third spot in the list. Despite that, he is enjoying a surge in wealth as the company doubles down on AI and VR and Zuckerberg is no longer just a social media mogul. Unarguably, he's now a central player in shaping the virtual future for the world.

Jeff Bezos – $247 Billion

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos may have stepped back from day-to-day operations, but his net worth keeps soaring. His strategy has been centred around strategic stock buybacks. Moreover, successful ventures like Blue Origin, and a resilient e-commerce backbone has made Bezos a perennial fixture in the global wealth top tier.

Steve Ballmer – $174 Billion

The LA Clippers owner and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has the reputation of quietly building one of the largest tech fortunes in the world. Ballmer’s net worth keeps climbing because of Microsoft’s continued dominance in AI and enterprise software.

Larry Page – $165 Billion

The Google co-founder Larry Page continues to reap the rewards of Alphabet’s sustained strength. Google Search, cloud computing, and autonomous vehicle ventures are the main drivers behind his wealth. Though he stays largely out of the spotlight, but his wealth keeps shining brightly.

Bernard Arnault – $156 Billion

The chairman of LVMH is the only non-tech billionaire in the top 10. Despite a volatile year for the luxury sector, Arnault remains the king of couture, commanding brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Tiffany & Co.

 Sergey Brin – $154 Billion

Alphabet’s other co-founder stays close to Larry Page in net worth. Brin’s investments in AI, biotech, and climate tech continue to pay off, even as he maintains a lower public profile than many of his peers.

Jensen Huang – $149 Billion

The AI chip boom has helped the Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in maintaining his position in this elite club. As demand for GPUs and AI infrastructure surges globally, Huang has rapidly climbed the billionaire ranks. His rise from a boardroom engineer to tech’s newest superstar definitely inspires many.

 Warren Buffett – $141 Billion

At 94, the 'Oracle of Omaha' Warren Buffett still holds a commanding spot in the top 10. Buffett’s disciplined value investing through Berkshire Hathaway has stood the test of time. He has successfully countered the tech trends while staying firmly rooted in fundamentals.
