The hospital will deliver world class treatment for irregular corneas through KeraSoft's contact lenses.

The MoU was signed by Kerasoft Director Vinod Vasudevan and Chief Executive K.G.R. Nair of Chaithanya Group.

The initiative is part of KeraSoft's strategy of forging partnerships with ophthalmologists and optometrists in the public and private sectors across India.
"KeraSoft is proud to be associated with Chaithanya, a reputed name in the eye care sector in India. This marks a major step forward in achieving our vision of making the world class treatment for Keratoconus available to patients in the country," Vasudevan told reporters.
In India, one in every 500 people is affected by Keratoconus, an eye condition that severely limits their lives.

"With the launch of Chaithanya KeraSoft Clinic, Keratoconus patients will have access to world class treatment facility," said Nair.
KeraSoft is expected to announce more tie-ups in other cities in coming months and is targeting penetration in all major cities across the country by 2010-end.
