Historically, gold sales see huge surge on Akshaya Tritiya. Keeping this tradition in mind, Bombay Stock Exchange will keep a special window open for trading in Gold ETFs (exchange traded funds) on that day, which falls on Sunday (May 16).
BSE will provide members and their clients access to gold ETFs on this special day.
BSE would keep the market open from 9 am to 3.30 pm. The NAV, however, will be applicable for Monday.
