CeBIT India 2016 kicks off in Bengaluru
CeBIT India 2016, the three-day annual technology and innovation conclave organised by Hannover Milano Fairs India, got off to a flying start on Thursday.
The theme for CeBIT India 2016 is ‘Discover the Business of Technology Innovation! See how collaborative disruption is changing tomorrow’s innovation’. Besides global and domestic exhibitors, the event also found participation of consultants, business experts, and policy makers. This year, CeBIT has participation from 400 brands, 191 exhibitors, 70 speakers, and two stages.
Delivering the keynote, Delhi University Ex-Vice Chancellor Prof Dinesh Singh pointed out the need for collaborative innovation for social change.
“India is moving at a rapid pace of digitisation with fast-evolving social and digital tools. This is making of a wide rage of socio-economic disruptions. Here, we need to evolve a cohesive policy atmosphere so that everyone will find a level-playing field,” he said.
